Method

  1. Preheat oven at 190 degrees Celsius
  2. Add butter, sugar, chocolate and syrup to a large bowl and heat au-bain-marie on low heat until everything is melted. Stir well and set aside to cool until luke warm
  3. Mix the eggs and vanilla extract in a separate bowl, add them to the luke-warm mixture from before and mix at low speed
  4. Add the flour, cocoa and baking powder, mix until smooth
  5. Spread mixture over a tray lined with baking parchment
  6. Bake for 25 minutes
