Rice with kale and fried garlic
portions
Ingredients
- 300 gr Rice
- 2 cups Paksoi
- 2 cups Kale
- 1 pcs Garlic bulb
- 1 pcs Chilli pepper
- 1 tsp Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
Method
- Wash the rice
- Cook the rice with equal parts water for 10 minutes on low heat. Turn off heat, fluff with fork and steam for another 10 minutes
- Finely cut the garlic
- Briefly fry the garlic in a generous amount of olive oil on medium heat until light golden colour
- Strain the garlic oil. Collect the oil separately and put the garlic crumbs on a paper towel to crisp up
- Take 1 tbsp of garlic oil and stir-fry the kale and hard pieces of paksoi
- Add the chilli and paksoi leaves and fry for another minute
- Bring to flavour with soy sauce, salt and pepper
- Serve with rice and crispy fried garlic
